I had this fantasy theother day; where I was a father an my son is learning music and he wants me to buy DJ software for him so that he can make music at home. Many times he requested me to buy music software but I didn’t bother about it.
One day a salesman came knocking at my door and he had music software called Traktor PRO 2 which he wanted to sell. My son was at home and looking at the salesman he immediately started smiling.
For sake of my son, I requested him to show the software. The salesman told us that this DJ software has sample decks, loop recorder, 30 effects and 4 decks for enhancing your creative instincts.
He further told us that Traktor Pro 2 is based on latest technology and it comes with colored waveforms called TruWave for getting best visuals for your music. This version also has brand new interface.
My son was very excited and he was listening to the salesman with great concentration, I believe never in his life he would have concentrated so much, not even in the school.
The salesman was eager to show live demonstration of the software, though I was not interested in watching the demonstration but because of my son I had to agree and watch the demonstration.
The salesman showed us how remixing could be done in real-time by using this software and he even switched from different decks to a sample deck with ease. Looking at the software I got interested in its working.
The salesman loaded 4 loops and told us in all 16 loops can be loaded. The salesman recorded the loops by using Loop Recorder with the help of audio interface inputs, master out and mixer channels.
He showed us around thirty performance enhancing effects and also showed us how to use effects like Bouncer, Ramp Delay, Auto Bouncer and Tape Delay in this software and believe me this software generated extreme sound.

He told us this software can be used to receive and send effects unit independently with the help of Traktor effects. He showed us how these effects can be used through multi-channel audio interface like TRAKTOR AUDIO 10.
The sales guy demonstrated how various sounds and loops can be used with new sample decks. He told us, this software also has synth and percussion loop in dubstep, bass, house techno, drum, trance and minimal styles.
He also demonstrated how to save loop in the library after grabbing the loop from the playing track. This software also has scratch sounds by DJ Craze and other 10 tracks from Mixtools series.
Further he showed how this software can be customized according to the need of a user and also how it provides hot key selection and multiple layouts which can be saved.
The awesome Native Instruments audio interface is very easy to use because auto-detection helps in smooth connection and disconnection even when you are playing a track.
Almost 10 years back I had gone to a nightclub and listening to the music generated by this software I felt like dancing, so I immediately decided to buy this wonderful software for my son. The end.
Stupid dreams aside, Traktor is a very real tool and an amazing platform for mixing tracks..
